Questions people ask first

Is it safe to keep using the outlet or breaker?

If the outlet is sparking, buzzing, or smells burnt, or the breaker keeps tripping, switch it off and don't use it until someone licensed has looked at it. If there's smoke or heat, get out and call 911 first. Then call us.

How fast can someone come out?

We call you back within the hour during business hours, and for a power-out or sparking outlet we try to get a licensed tech out the same day.

Do you give a price before starting?

Yes. We come out, explain what's wrong and what the fix is, with a price, before any work starts.

Are you licensed?

How it works

From the first call to the follow-up, in this order.

  1. Someone calls or fills in the contact form

  2. Greg calls back within the hour during business hours to get the basics: what's going on, whether it's an emergency, and the address

  3. For a power-out or sparking-outlet situation, he tries to get a licensed tech out the same day

  4. Before any work starts, Greg comes out, looks at the problem and explains what's wrong and the fix, with a price, so there are no surprises

  5. Once they say go, the work is done, everything is tested, and they're walked through what was done

  6. Greg follows up a few days later to make sure everything's still running right

What it usually costs

Ranges for the most common calls, so the number is never a shock.

  • outlet repair about $100 to $250

  • breaker swap about $150 to $350, depending on the panel and what else needs doing

  • lighting installs roughly $150 to $600 per fixture
